My name is Amy...and I am addicted to thrifting


The first finds of this pretty purple collection was the round gem and one of the mid size square pieces.  They were $1 a piece at a garage sale.  I have one friend in particular I have to watch...she's already taken it once.  I found the other 3 pieces a couple weeks ago for $4...total.  They were filthy, but a little soft scrub cleaned them right up.

Check out the inside!  They all have the same pink lining.

I think I paid $2 for this pink one below.  
 These have all been found at different times.   I list the two bags on my Etsy page, but still not sure if I want to part with the sweet Amelia Earhart makeup case.
 This one is the prize possession.  It's a green Lady Baltimore...and it's PERFECT!


No, I have absolutely no idea why I need all this luggage.  Yes, I adore it.  Yes, I sell some of it.  No, I cannot pass it up when thrifting.  And no, this is not my entire collection.

    oh lovely, I particularly like the round pink one... I cant pass up a nice old suitcase either.. unless, like at a Thrift Store locally last week they were asking $55 for a battered old dirty case, with broken locks!!! OH MY!

    Omigosh so lovely! They look almost as if they have never been used.You can never have too much luggage, they are great for storing things in. :)

    I wouldn't pass them up either in those beautiful jewel-tone colors! I especially love the colors on the Amelia Earhart and the Lady-Baltimore!

    Oh gosh I LOVE it!!!! I have just started getting into thrift stores as I have two by my new house...in our old apartment I had no room to buy anything! Lol!     I have never seen Vintage luggage in purple. Great find for $1!!!!

    I LOVE Vintage luggage too! Hubby says I probably have as much as you find at an airport luggage carousel!

    Recently, I found a FAB square pink one with pastel green lining! I LOVE it! I often use it to haul my goods to my booth at the Antique Mall...and people are always following me around to see if I am selling it...NEVER! ;)
