Adventures in thrift

I haven't been feeling like blogging lately.  I'm in a slump.  I have been painting my house, and trying to get my children to stop wrestling.  A little thrifting always seems to cheer me up.  I have a HUGE update on Etsy in the works...but here's at sneak peek at my favorite finds.

Lots of great vintage patterns.  See the one for hats and turbans in the upper left?  Turbans are everywhere on the net.  Not sure I have the balls to pull one off, but still couldn't resist the pattern for one.
Tons of 60's and 70's originals.  If only I didn't like to sleep at night!
This picture is terrible (taken with my phone) but I love these vintage stretchy watches.
Hard to tell in this crummy photo, but this is patent!  It sold already.  I swear sometimes it's hard to part.
Needlepoints.  I can't resist.  I passed one up the other day, and while I was standing there checking out, someone else had grabbed it for her daughters room.  If only I had a warehouse sized basement.  It would be on.
Needlepoint kits. Booyah.

Here is a vintage twin size bedspread.  I went the next day and found these...

Matching curtains.  The tag had no price, but said "3" which in thrift lingo, means set.  And since I am so on top of things and organized (not) I still had the comforter in my trunk.  So, they gave me the curtains for FREE.   This was a much needed 3 day weekend.  And, the fighting ensues.  I have to break up Monday nights WWF.  Ahhhh, back to reality.

Linking up to party again...I have missed meeting new bloggers.  Check out the "i like to party page" to see where it's at!
