Hello, and thanks for stopping by. I am Amy (Hamm) Schleicher, hammbone, hamm, greeneggs, big amy, I answer to them all. Thrifting has always been a big part of who i am. When dating my hubby we spent loads of time in thrift stores and estate sales. Over the years we have grown a pretty big collection and I finally have the time to share it here. We have an enormous collection of vinyl (most of it in storage) and can't wait to get our hands on it so we can share the love.
I love the thrill of the hunt. I love shag carpet and hand made quilts, making things with felt, needlepoint and handbags, old patterns and old ladys with pink and purple hair. I enjoy sewing when I have time, knitting and crocheting while watching movies, painting, taking pictures, organizing, cooking, and making stuff in general. I don't scrapbook, so this is my little online journal of my projects, my finds, and my family.
My family is my life. They make me laugh, and I try to do the same for them.
